My name is Justin Pham. I’ve had chronic kidney disease since I was 9 years old.

Today I do peritoneal dialysis every single night. Seven nights a week. While most people sleep, I’m connected to a machine managing my health.

Like most dialysis patients, I take multiple medicines every day. And every time I saw my nephrologist, the questions were always the same.

• What are you taking?
• When did you take it?
• Did you miss any doses?

Honestly, I couldn’t always remember.

Not because I didn’t care, but because managing kidney disease is relentless. And there was no real way to track what I took or share that information with my care team without trying to recall everything from memory sitting in that appointment.

I wanted something that already knew my kidney medicines. Something that kept track so I didn’t have to. Something I could show my nephrologist and say, “Here’s exactly what’s been happening.”

Nothing like that existed for kidney patients.

So I built it.
